Hi,
l have a 2001 VauxhallVectra Auto 1.8. The service light on the car flashes randomly (once a week), even though the car has been recently serviced. Whenever, the light flashes, the car refuses to pick up and is extremely sluggish at high speeds. With the gas pedal completely pressed it reaches a max of 70m/hr.

Any help or pointers would be much appreciated.

is it in the shape of a car with a spanner through it ,if so its not the service light Take it in and Vauxhall will diagnose it with a Tech 2 machine. This will tell you whats wrong.
