i have a vauxhall vectra with a rear door that will not open , seems to be deadlocked any suggestions

l have a 97 Vectra B.
When u lock the doors with the remote the first push of the button locks the doors & arms the Alarm.
The second time u push the button (Within 10 Secs ) will dead lock all the doors.
Have u tried unlocking with remote
Check the lift to unlock button at bottom of window, If still in locked position try lifting to unlock then open door, If door opens from outside but not inside u have got the child safety locks on.
If this opens the door then suspect the electric motor in the door lock, Ebay for £10 & half a day to take out the old one & refit.
