l have just recently got my car 3 weeks ago and l went to check kwikfit and other various websites for my recomended psi they all said 29 front 28 back but when l went to morrisons to check they were all at 49 psi can anyone help me with this as l dnt wanna deflate my tyres incase they should be 49 psi and not 29 psi.

The answer will be in the owners manual you got with the car. Some cars have the info on the inside of the fuel filler flap.

29/28 is right - start letting some air out!
Should also be on a label on the door edge or pillar.
If that car is straight from a dealer, their pdi chimps need shooting! You should complain.

You pay for a PD l test (Pre Delivery Inspection) & the dealer has to confirm everything on the car is set correctly,oil & water levels r correct etc & that tyre pressures r correct.Contact the dealer,tell him about the tyre pressures & get him to explain how this happened & get him to show u the tyre pressure label on the door jam.Complain & demand the dealer corrects the tyre pressures & carries out another PD l inspection.If they have missed something so simple as tyre pressure then what else have they missed?
High tyre pressure like this is dangerous as it seriously effects the handling of the car.

You are right at 29/28.
First thing to do is get your own Tyre Pressure Gauge and check again what reading you have. Morrison is may have a faulty meter.
Also it is not showing an accurate Bar reading either as that would be about 2.00 for your tyres.

that is the same on my car but if you goto a tyre place they will always put 31psi in and that is what l always put in now on all my tyres.
