recently my vectra 3.0 v6 cdti sri 04 plat has been struggling to start up first thing, but now it will not start at all, l tryed the 'easy start spray' it fired up then cut out again, and now will not start, contacted the AA and they said its the diesel fuel pump near the engine?? does anyone know where l can find the cheapest or any suggestions?
i have checked the car out it is the fuel pump

l am far from an expert but would it not be wise to check the filter first, and then try bleeding the lines?

reckon you need to take it to a dealership and get it replaced or reprogrammed

l would take it to a dealer to find out whether you have an issue with the high or low pressure pump. If the high pressure pump has gone down l am afraid it will be expensive. It is a complex engine and it needs to be looked at professionally with the correct diagnostic equipment.
